Where do we get our products?

What is Passive Fire Protection?
Passive Fire Protection is an integral part of structural fire protection within a building. It uses building materials and structural design to prevent or delay the spread of fire and smoke for the safety of the building occupants and to allow more time for fire fighters to respond.

What are you trying to achieve?
We will install the correct systems for a given penetration. We determine these systems by identifying the required fire rating level, the service type, the material type of service, nd the size of the penetration.
Its main components are as follows:
- Compartmentalization
Dividing the building into smaller fire-resistant sections using fire rated walls, floors and ceilings.
- Fire-resistant materials
Using materials such as fire boards, vermiculite spray, intumescent paint, fire wraps etc. to enable structural elements such as columns and beams and HVAC components such as mechanical ducts to withstand high-temperatures within a specified time.
- Opening Protection
Installing fire doors, windows, and other opening protections to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through openings in fire resistant walls.
- Penetration sealing
Sealing penetrations (e.g. pipes, cables) passing through fire resistant walls, ceilings or flooring.
